Reverse Effect

The vortex sirens sounded for the first time in several years. People forgot about the vortex issues from the past and went about their normal lives. Even the shelters were in disrepair, unable to protect men from the power of the null space inside the vortex bubbles. Once struck, the men had no way out. They were instantly transformed into a woman.

Harold had no idea what was happening. All he remembered about vortexes was you wanted to stay clear of them. That was impossible. The bubbles raced from space and passed straight through the Earth. It was over before anyone knew what happened. The other thing Harold seemed to remember was his dad talking about pulling your pantyhose up tight. It was supposed reverse the effect. It did not work. But it did get Marie plenty of offers to spend the night. And Marie is a much more promiscuous girl than Harold was.
