Aurora

A solar flare crashed into Earth causing massive auroras as far south as the coast of southern France. The auroras were so bright they actually looked like they were reaching the ground. People around the world watched the dazzling display. Conrad was one of those people.

Conrad brought a blanket and a pillow so he could lie back on the side walk and watch the show. After hours of watching the coloured lights dance across night sky he fell asleep. The aurora had special qualities that night. A few lucky men were transformed by the magic sky into beautiful women. Conrad was one of the lucky ones.

The next morning he got up and accepted his fate. It was fitting her name was changed to Aurora. She was so happy the way the astrological event played out. Aurora had a happy life after the fateful night. She married, had two children, and (of course) retired to the Mediterranean coast of France with her husband.
