There once was a man named Alex who lived on Earth working as a construction worker.  As a young man Alex felt wrong. He worked hard, drank hard, played hard and smoked. He wanted to seem normal so he tried spending time with girls, not just as friends, but as, you know, lovers. It did not go well. Alex felt he should be the girl! He felt sorry for the girls he was with; he could not be a ‘real’ man.

Alex took early retirement to avoid people. He moved off-world to Trantoon 6, sometimes called the fairy tale world, where vast areas of the planet were covered in forest. Alex avoided facing his confused feelings about gender by avoiding all people. But even on a world like Trantoon, people move into the neighborhood.

A pretty golden haired girl named Goldie moved in a mile down the dirt road. She was bubbly and all smiles. She refused to be alone,even when living alone. She walked to Alex’s house in the woods everyday right around supper time. Over the weeks she pried the truth out of Alex. She understood Alex’s problem.

Goldie took Alex’s hands and told him the truth about her. It seems Goldie is a witch, or at least a magical being able to grant wishes. Does it matter on the fairy tale world? Goldie asked Alex to close his eyes while holding her hands. When he reopened his eyes he saw himself. He was in Goldie’s body! “Go home,” Goldie said from his body. “Live my life for a while and see if you like it. If you want this body and life back I will return it. If not, I can dispose of this body and move on.”

The months and years went by with no desire to be Alex again. One day Alex (his body, at least) showed up at Goldie’s doorstep with a marriage proposal. It seems when Goldie moved into Alex’s body she became Alex, only without the insecurities about women. And now he was in love. Goldie had to admit his old body looked good for its age. Of course she said yes. It’s the fairy tale world.

Live by the Sword

From the time he was a little boy Arthur wanted to be in law enforcement. Not some lowly Earth schlep of a cop, but rather an interplanetary undercover agent of the Community of Worlds’ Interpol. When he entered college he was approached when word got out of his unyielding desire to serve. The fact that he would need to serve as a female agent did not deter Arthur one bit.

As Mindy, the defender of all that is good, Arthur became the agent of her dreams. Her skill and beauty enhanced her reputation around the galaxy. Bad guys did not want Mindy after them. She always got her man.

Her fame also made her a target. She brought down the largest crime syndicates in the Community of Worlds. Crime lords knew the balance was out of their favor. A plan was hatched; a trap set. Mindy never backed down from a difficult assignment. She walked in eyes wide open and took down most of the bad guys. But there were too many and they outflanked Mindy. When the dust settled Mindy was dead.

On an out world in the Community of Worlds a young boy was reading about Mindy’s death. She was his superhero saving the galaxy from evil. For as long as he could remember he wanted to be in law enforcement. Not some lowly local schlep of a cop; he wanted to be Mindy. It did not bother him if he had to be a girl to get the job done.

Cosmic Rays

A black hole passed close to Earth. Scientists didn’t know it was coming until it was nearly upon the planet. The good news was Earth would be spared, but it would be close. The black hole would mess with Earth’s orbit affecting seasons for a few decades. The other issue was the strong cosmic rays coming from the black hole.

Scientists tested the cosmic rays as they grew stronger each day. The rays had properties similar to a swapping chamber and other gender transformation devices. If scientists were right the human race would be all female before the black hole passed.

Bob heard the warning over the radio. It was hopeless to fight the inevitable. The cosmic rays would affect each man differently. Bob knew he was very susceptible because he could feel his breasts growing already. When the black hole safely passed the planet Bob was Bo. Eight-seven percent of the men were transformed into women.

There was lots of good news though. The black hole passed Earth at a greater distance than expected and affected the orbit less than feared. The last bit of good news is that Bo caught the eye of one of the remaining 17% of men so she never went to bed alone.

Performance Anxiety

There is an old movie from Earth history still popular with the crowd Scottie hangs with. The movie was part of a series. Getting your hands on a copy of any old Earth movie was neigh impossible unless you had the right contacts. Scottie and his friends had such contacts.

The movie series was different than any other. It started with Episode IV, V, and VI before going back to Episode I, II, and III years later. Even later they restarted the series with Episode VII and finally finished producing movies in the series with Episode XVIII.

The government of Pelque IX heard Scottie and his group had a copy of all but one episode of the series. The government always looking for ideas to attract tourists acquired the missing copy and offered it free to Scottie’s group in exchange for a small favor: the group would perform regular theatrical performances of several of the series plots. The government knew what would draw tourists and demanded plots from later in the series focusing on sexy women be performed.

Scottie’s group was all male, posing a problem. Officials of Pelque IX had the perfect solution: several of the boys would be transformed into females via Pelque advanced nanotechnology. Scottie was so excited about seeing the missing episode he volunteered for a female role. He changed his legal name to Lorelei. As you can see he lives his new role. He can’t get enough. And people travel from around the galaxy to see Scottie and his team perform a rare treat of old Earth cinematography. 

Prisoner of War

War is no place for a man. The civil war on Pental V is a perfect example of why men should let the fighting be done by those who know best how: women. Modern weapons make men obsolete on the battlefield.

Earth wanted to earn their keep in the Community of Worlds so they offered to send a small peacekeeping force to Pental. Nobody thought humans would be dumb enough to send men to do the fighting. When the troops and advisers arrived they insisted they were the best Earth had to offer.

On the battlefield the men advanced as they were trained. One massive burst of girly light fire and the men were all gone; they were women now. Disoriented, the girls were captured and brought to the enemy training camp. The new girls were trained to fight like women, the only real warriors.

Ricky was the best man in the peacekeeping force from Earth. Now she is the best woman soldier fighting for the rebels. They call her Sarah now. She has a way of tricking the enemy into vulnerable positions and then cutting them down.

Earth is still trying to find their place in the Community of Worlds. But what can you expect from a primitive world? Humans will do fine; it should take no more than 70-80% of the men being turned into girls to get the job done.
