The aliens did not understand the mores of Earth society when
they held Wesley down and performed a gender transformation. Witness said they
thought Wesley did not fight very hard to get away. Then again, why should he? Wesley
preferred life as a woman.
Wesley, now Angelina, was only the first victim of the
strange alien race to make first contact with Earth. When the media covered the
event, including several phone videos from observers, people from around the
world came to see the aliens. It seems it is polite for the aliens to greet a
stranger by turning them into a woman. Once that news was out millions of men
rushed to greet the beings from another world.
Soon there was a shortage of men on Earth. Nature always is
in balance. Another world with an abundance of men helped filled the, ahem,
void the new Earth women needed filled. The way men, or should I say women, on
Earth cooperated with the alien race it was clear the galaxy wanted Earth to
join the Community of Worlds. There is an old adage that says you have to give
your left nut in diplomacy, but on Earth you lost the whole package. Not that
it was ever missed.
